30. Not Installing updates

Whenever possible you want all of your servers to be updated. But as you can see there are times when that is not possible.

If you encounter this in your organization be sure to:

• Isolate the machine as much as possible.
• Move any applications that are not involved in the issue to other servers
• Remove any users and directories not needed.
• Monitor all traffic to and from the machine.
